A Night Downtown










I must admit..I have a thing for colored walls. I drag my sister around on adventures with me to find the pefect wall for a blog post. We usually end up downtown because that's where I find the most unique and interesting backdrops for an outfit shoot.  Trying to find the walls is the hard part. It usually starts by my sister driving and me yelling when I see a good wall or backdrop. From there the car takes a sharp turn and we head back to the site of the colorful wall to take pictures. My outfit for this HOT Friday night is a skirt that I purchased from Nordstrom awhile back. I never pulled it out of my closet until now and I realise how much I love it. I paired it with a deep v-neck top from Zara. My shoes are little white tennis shoes from Target. My necklace is from Etsy ( search minimalist designs).

Andie: Summer Gingham

Summer Gingham



My friends and I planned a summer morning brunch to Heirloom Cafe and Hearth in KC. It was the most adorable cafe I've ever been to. It's always exciting to find cute new places in town to check out. I brought my camera to take pictures and once we got there I realized that I forgot my camera card.. major fail. I still wanted pictures of my outfit for the day so once I got home I took some. I got this gingham shirt out of my mom's closet! I love how comfortable it feels and the light weight material makes it perfect for cooler summer days. My jeans are Joe's jeans recently purchased from Nordstrom. My hat is from H&M. I'm wearing my favorite summer sandals, Tory Burch Miller sandals. Hope you enjoy!

Andie: Sunday Brunch

Sunday Brunch








My sister and I decided to head downtown to my favorite brunch spot Cafe Gratitude. After going vegan I'm always looking for new great spots to eat and fell in love with Cafe Gratitude. The atmosphere is so inviting and the food is amazing. My goal is to try everything on the menu! After brunch we drove around downtown and found this bright wall and of course I had to make it my background for pictures. My top and shorts are from J.crew and my bag is Longchamp. I love how the pop of red in the bag brings out the red in the top. I decided to throw on my converse to make the outfit more casual.

Andie: Statement Piece

I recently got this adorable romper from Lulu's.com. As you can probably tell I love wearing rompers and can't stop buying them. When I saw this one on sale there was no question..I had to buy it. My statement necklace is from my Rocksbox this month. It adds so much to the outfit and of course some sparkle. I decided to throw on my Tory Burch Miller sandals and Rebecca Minoff mini mac bag and head out the door to the Nordstrom anniversary sale to kick off the weekend!

Andie: Lake Life

Lake Life 

Every year my family heads down to the lake for a fun filled weekend. We go out on the lake for our typical boat ride. I always justify buying a new swimsuit even though we are only there for three days...(oh well). I'm obsessed with this swimsuit that I picked up from Aerie. I've gotten so many compliments on it. I actually got an amazing deal on it which is a plus! I recommend checking out Aerie because they have so many other great suits that are great deals. 

My typical Tory Burch sandals that I bring everywhere. They're easy to slip on and run out the door. If you're looking to purchase these I would go with this tan color because it goes with every outfit!
I love this white lace top that I found at Urban Outfitters. It's a perfect swimsuit cover-up. 
This hand bracelet chain is from my Rocksbox for July. It adds such a unique touch to any outfit. 

I got this bag from Lilly Pulitzer a long time ago. It is suppose to be a cooler I think..but I use it for a pool bag and it works perfectly. It's water proof so you don't have to worry about it getting wet.

Emma: Sandy Feet

These past two weeks have flown by. It seems like just yesterday I hopped off the plane at LAX! (Dream and cardigan both included.) I decided to coordinate one last blog post on my last night of the trip! Enjoy!


I chose to wear this oatmeal sweater this evening not only because it goes with everything, but also because of its versatility! You can never go wrong with the color oatmeal.


I have been loving these shorts this trip! They are high-waisted and a bit edgy with frayed legs! (Not to mention... I made them myself!)



Overall, I love how simple and beachy this outfit is. It's a go-to outfit for any casual occasion!
