Andie: In the Rockies

My family recently went to Colorado for a family reunion. The moutains are one of my favorite places in the world( other than the beach) ! We spent a lot of time driving through the moutains and getting out to explore.
On the first day I wore this super cute and comfy dress from Zara along with a jean jacket because it was a little chilly. My shoes are my favorite summer shoes from Old Navy. (Linked Below)
In Boulder I ate at Leaf which is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. My aunt and I are both vegan and agreed that it was one of the best meals we've ever had! We shared a sushi salad, cauliflower tacos, and a "crab cake" sandwich.

Hope You Enjoyed!

Emma: Elegance, Embroidery, and the Eiffel Tower

One of my last days in Paris turned into one I will never forget. My mom and I visited the "Anatomy of Fashion" exhibition at the Palais Galliera, and it was engaging all across the board. A few of the key features included in the exhibition are a collection of Audrey Hepburn's hats, vintage Prada, and even clothing worn by Marie Antoinette. Needless to say, I was in my element.

The building itself is something to look at. The exterior showcases many grand pillars, a round veranda, and beautiful statues. The inside was just as wonderful, with large windows and doors, marble floors, and intricate ceilings.

I knew that I had to rise to the occasion and dress to impress! I was so excited to wear this embroidered skirt that I purchased while in Rome, and it did not disappoint.

I paired this detailed skirt with a plain black top for an angle of simplicity. I love how the skirt draws your attention, but the top balances it out.

When we were finished at the museum, we left through this gorgeous black gate and headed to the streets to find a café for lunch.

On our way to lunch, some beautiful blue doors caught my eye, and I could not pass up the opportunity for some more photos. My mom and I are intrigued by the notion of walking down an ordinary street and finding unexpected treasures, like these doors, all along the way. It's not something you see often in Kansas City!

Our final destination was the very top of the Eiffel Tower! Here are some photos taken at its peak.

I celebrated climbing 1,700 steps with a glass of bubbly! (Just kidding, we took the elevator... but still worth celebrating!)

We ended the evening by sitting on the Trocadero lawn and watching the tower light up. It was a beautiful evening, enhanced by such a beautiful structure.

I am so happy with this post. Thank you for reading! See you soon!

Emma: Prints in Paris

I think I could spend a lifetime in this city and never run out of new things to see. Aside from the typical tourist museums, works of art, etc., the architecture is beyond anything you'd see in the United States. You don't have to go out of your way to find something breathtaking... it's already in front of you.

On this day, we shopped at Le Champs Elysées (Louis Vuitton all the way!) and took in the various sites up and down the street. The most notable structure on this stretch is the grand Arc de Triomphe. Seeing this giant arch in person and getting to go to the top to look over the city was a treat!

I wore this ZARA dress that I had purchased that very day! When I put it on in the store I was immediately in love, and I simply couldn't wait to wear it. It was a perfect choice for the weather and occasion.

The fringed layers in front are such a fun addition to the dress, while also very flattering! I wore my simple jewelry as to not distract from the main focus! I also wore the only purse I brought on this trip, my Mini MAC. I'm so glad I chose to bring this purse above others; this trip has proven to me just how versatile it is!

Emma: Neutrals at The Colosseum

I'm really no history-buff, but the Colosseum is quite fascinating to me. It is such a grand structure with so much purpose and meaning, and walking through it can really take a person back in time. I had the awesome opportunity to do so as one of the main parts of my trip to Rome, and am able to appreciate the history behind this grand building now that I have stepped foot in it.

We visited the Colosseum, along with some other beautiful structures, on our first day in Rome, and I was of course excited to start shooting blog photos!

This outfit was great for a hot day of touring. This dress from Zara is somewhat of a sweater material, but the knit nature of it makes it airy and great for summer. It definitely was not chilly outside (unless you consider 95 degrees chilly), but I needed a sweater to cover my shoulders for some of the sights we saw that day. I'm really glad I chose to bring my light beach sweater, because it absolutely adds to the class of this outfit!

This piazza (plaza) near the Colosseum was wonderful! With plenty of statues and beautiful architecture, we spent half an hour or so just checking out this small area. The photos above were taken on balcony overlooking some of the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Right after walking around the Colosseum, we headed across the hill to the Roman Forum. This historic area was home to ancient legislation and government buildings, and this was apparent in the gorgeous and grand architecture!

Here is a closer look at the fabric of this dress. It was a sweater-like material, but was definitely still breathable. This dress has a very versatile fit and color, making it an awesome option for many different occasions.

My nail color is a classic taupe, which goes flawlessly with my color-scheme. On my middle finger I wear my two everyday silver rings for good luck.

These espadrilles are certainly a new favorite. I absolutely knew I couldn't journey to Europe without a pair of Soludos, and I'm so glad I ordered them in time! The chambray and white stripes are a perfect compliment to this ensemble... simple and classy with a little color. I can't wait to style these for the rest of the summer and next spring.
