Emma: Throwback: Monet's Garden

In the heat of homework and college apps, it's somewhat hard to remember a time when I was at complete ease!

However, this day in France was one of those times when my mind was at ease, and my soul was immersed in my surroundings. We took a day trip to Monet's house and garden in Mt. Vernon. Here are some photos from that amazing day.

Whether this could be a source of inspiration or just a source of beauty, I hope you enjoyed this post!

Emma: Fall Brights

While I love fall neutrals, I don't stray away from summery colors during transition months. Even though the weather becomes duller and duller, I don't want my outfits to.

This skirt is a J.Crew classic, and has become a classic for my wardrobe as well––I wear it all the time! I love how it can give a simple outfit a pop of fun. In this outfit, that wasn't necessary because of my vibrant top, but it still added a unique color to the equation.

I love how these colors work together! While it may seem too busy for some people, I think that the look is fun and youthful.

Andie: October in Kansas City

Happy October everyone! I love everything about the month of October, especially the weather right now in Kansas City! This post is mainly focused around this amazing dress that I purchased from Asos.com. Can you believe it's under $30!??? The print is perfect for this time of year and can be dressed up or down depending on where you are going.
I found these black booties on Asos also. I love how they are a little pointed and have a small heel so they are super comfy and give you a little height! They go perfect with any dress or just a great pair of jeans.
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Andie: Floral Skirt

Happy fall everyone! It seems like ages since I've done a blog post but I'm back and super excited to start posting fall outfits. I love everything about the fall especially the fashion. I can't wait for sweater and jean weather! I've already put away most of my summer clothing and started pulling out my warmer weather items. I've also started my fall shopping of course!
I've recently found an amazing online store call Boohoo.com. There are always 50% off sales going on all the time which is amazing if you don't have tons of money to spend on new fall clothing. I bought this adorable skirt during a sale for only $15!
My bag is a mini mad tote by Rebecca Minkoff. I love the bright red color for the fall!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Andie: In the Rockies

My family recently went to Colorado for a family reunion. The moutains are one of my favorite places in the world( other than the beach) ! We spent a lot of time driving through the moutains and getting out to explore.
On the first day I wore this super cute and comfy dress from Zara along with a jean jacket because it was a little chilly. My shoes are my favorite summer shoes from Old Navy. (Linked Below)
In Boulder I ate at Leaf which is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. My aunt and I are both vegan and agreed that it was one of the best meals we've ever had! We shared a sushi salad, cauliflower tacos, and a "crab cake" sandwich.

Hope You Enjoyed!

Emma: Elegance, Embroidery, and the Eiffel Tower

One of my last days in Paris turned into one I will never forget. My mom and I visited the "Anatomy of Fashion" exhibition at the Palais Galliera, and it was engaging all across the board. A few of the key features included in the exhibition are a collection of Audrey Hepburn's hats, vintage Prada, and even clothing worn by Marie Antoinette. Needless to say, I was in my element.

The building itself is something to look at. The exterior showcases many grand pillars, a round veranda, and beautiful statues. The inside was just as wonderful, with large windows and doors, marble floors, and intricate ceilings.

I knew that I had to rise to the occasion and dress to impress! I was so excited to wear this embroidered skirt that I purchased while in Rome, and it did not disappoint.

I paired this detailed skirt with a plain black top for an angle of simplicity. I love how the skirt draws your attention, but the top balances it out.

When we were finished at the museum, we left through this gorgeous black gate and headed to the streets to find a café for lunch.

On our way to lunch, some beautiful blue doors caught my eye, and I could not pass up the opportunity for some more photos. My mom and I are intrigued by the notion of walking down an ordinary street and finding unexpected treasures, like these doors, all along the way. It's not something you see often in Kansas City!

Our final destination was the very top of the Eiffel Tower! Here are some photos taken at its peak.

I celebrated climbing 1,700 steps with a glass of bubbly! (Just kidding, we took the elevator... but still worth celebrating!)

We ended the evening by sitting on the Trocadero lawn and watching the tower light up. It was a beautiful evening, enhanced by such a beautiful structure.

I am so happy with this post. Thank you for reading! See you soon!
