Emma: San Francisco Serendipity

Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting one of the most unique places on Earth... the beautiful city of San Francisco! Though I was only in the city for 2 days of my trip, I experienced more than I have on other longer trips elsewhere. I'm sharing some photos from the visit. Warning... these photos may seem extremely touristy... I hadn't been there since I was 9, so we of course had to take the typical tourist agenda!

We climbed up a typical San Franciscan hill, and my legs just about gave out... But the view was totally worth it.

Chinatown was packed as always, but I managed to get some great photos of the unique stretch.

Union Square is spectacular. Live music, good eats, and fantastic shopping are what make this area popular.

I couldn't miss out on one of my favorite chocolate companies! Based in San Francisco, you can find Ghirardelli chocolates everywhere in this area... But don't forget to take a visit to the actual ice cream shop!

We stopped and walked around various piers. They are all so unique; this one in particular, Fisherman's Wharf, is known for its great restaurants and little shops.

I know that I'll live here someday. The laid-back atmosphere, beautiful weather, and amazing sights have me enthralled. As for now, I'm just waiting for that day to come. Thank you, San Francisco.

Andie: Neutral Romper

The weather in Kansas City has been extremely hot lately! Dressing for this weather can be difficult because staying cool is my main focus and a lot of my clothes are not so hot weather friendly. I love this romper that I bought at TJMaxx for only $15!! The neutral color makes it easy to pair with different shoes and jewerly.
A new summer obession of mine are these new sunnies that I found at Nordstrom. They have so many cute pairs of sunnies that it's hard to chose just one pair! They were also under $30!
Hope You Enjoy!

Emma: Metallic Madness

I spent this evening downtown with some friends, and chose my outfit accordingly! I combined two classic pieces with two edgier pieces to create a fun look for a night out.

Though this appears to be a cross-style skirt from the front, it's actually a pair of shorts! I recently purchased these from J.Crew. They're edgy and unique, but can be paired with classic pieces to mix media and create a balanced look.

I love how my embellished clutch looks with these shorts! The colors complement each other perfectly... a beautiful burgundy can look great with any metallic.

As I mentioned, I paired two simple pieces (my top and shoes), with two edgy pieces (my shorts and clutch). I did this as to not over-complicate the look, and I really love the balance. Both my shoes and top are so versatile, whereas my shorts and clutch are fun accents!

These sunglasses complete the look. The color is simple, but the style is unexpected. I love these!

*My link-service isn't currently working, so I can't link similar styles for my pieces until that is repaired! However, I'll provide details below as to where each item was purchased.*

Emma: Twirly Skirt

I decided to go for a bolder, more colorful look than usual. Most people may not consider this to be "bold", but it's a step out of my usual classic comfort-zone!

I love the pleated skirt style, and just had to try it out for myself. This one is a gorgeous light turquoise with thin pleats, which I prefer over wider pleats.

I wore my navy and white striped blouse to complement the pleats of the skirt, and I love how the colors look together. I then added a leopard belt for another subtle print. I really like how it contrasts with the girly color of my skirt.

The neckline of my top is called keyhole; it's very classy buttoned, but can be unbuttoned for a more relaxed look.

My favorite sunglasses!

My system for linking similar items isn't working right now, but once it's working again, I'll link all of the items and similar styles!

Thanks for reading. Have a great day!
