Emma: Cold and Cozy Sunday

After all of the (delicious) gorging I've done for the past couple of days, there's a very slim chance I'll be wearing anything but leggings for at least a week.  I dressed über comfy and cozy for this cold Sunday.

If you follow my posts, you'll know that a lot of my outfits are fairly monochromatic. Sometimes I prefer to stick to one basic color to keep the scale of the outfit simple, or to give importance to a single detail.

Step aside, Sole Society! These New Balance sneakers are my new favorite shoes! I have had these for a week or so, and I'm absolutely in love. They're practical, comfy, and go with just about any casual outfit you could ever imagine. I am very pleased with the color I chose⎼they aren't too plain, but they aren't flashy either.

Annnnnnd these pants... yet another obsession! They are the ebb to street pant by lululemon; I have a pair in grey and received this color, desert teal, for Christmas. They may be my favorite lululemon product to date! I can wear them for my spin classes, on-the-go, or even just to bed. If you're on the lookout for a new pair of leggings, definitely check these babies out.

Is it bad that I want to just curl up in this pullover with a movie and hot chocolate and call it a day? No? Okay. That's where you'll find me for the next week then...
In all seriousness though, I could rave about this sweatshirt from aerie. It's soft, has pockets, and has a cowl neck. What else does a teenage girl need in life?

I received this Tiffany & Co. ring for Christmas and adore it. I love any piece of jewelry that is simple, elegant, and wearable all the time⎼this ring is all three! I'm so glad to have a new staple in my jewelry collection.

Andie: Holiday Plaid

One of my favorite trends this year are knee high boots. There are so many different ways to wear them and they keep your legs super warm which is a plus. I've been trying to hunt down the perfect pair that weren't too expensive but don't look cheap and wouldn't wear easily. I found this pair of black boots on Nordstrom.com which has a wide selection of knee high boots for various prices. I was a little skeptical when purchasing a pair because I had never tried them on before and did't know if they would look good on and fit right. I was happy to find out that they fit perfectly and are some of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn! Now I have my eye on some other colors. As for the rest of my outfit my turtleneck sweater and scarf are from J.crew and my jeans are by Hudson. This whole outfit just screams Christmas and I love it!
Hope you all have a happy Christmas Eve!

Emma: Festively Fancy

Today I wore my fur vest. Shocking, right? When I love a piece of clothing, I'm not afraid to wear it multiple times a week, and that's what's been happening with this piece! I love finding new ways to style it in accordance with the fluctuating weather.

I grabbed this wreath from my house to make things festive! It seems crazy to me that Christmas is in two days, and I need constant reminders.

I wore my d'orsay heels to dress-up the outfit. These have transitioned very nicely from fall to winter, and I'm sure they'll last me a long time! They're not too high, but still give me some height. Plus, you can never go wrong with a nice pair of black heels.
Plus plus, shoes. I need all the shoes.

Emma: Decorating for the Holidays

This Christmas, I decided to decorate my room festively. I combined some new and old pieces and absolutely love how it turned out!

I love these little snowflake lights from T.J.Maxx. They are battery-powered so don't require a plug in which is very convenient. I love turning them on while I read before bed to add some sparkle!

This cute little gingerbread guy is actually an antique that belonged to my mother when she was little.  He looks so cute with my bedding color scheme.

I found these little soldier animals in my attic and couldn't resist utilizing them in my decor. They're fun and unique while also being traditional. I found the reindeer candle at T.J.Maxx; not only does it smell amazing, it's totally wintery.

This silver mercury-glass tree (top photo) caught my eye at Home Goods; I love any cute piece that sparkles. I also bought a coordinating chalice candle (bottom photo) and love how it looks when I burn it at night. Mercury-glass candles look so bright and stunning in the dark!

I grouped this sparkly nutcracker with a few decor pieces I already had out in my room, and I love how well he coordinates! He is from Home Goods as well.

Ahhhh... more mercury-glass! This pink tree is probably my favorite Christmas piece. It is unique and girly, and just-so-happens to coordinate perfectly with my room!

I set this little tree on my bedside table and added a fun red bow to my lamp. Trees and bows... practically the epitome of Christmas, right?
